Following the retirement of two UIC experts, UIC would like to pay tribute to their involvement and their technical contribution which contributed to make UIC a technical platform recognised at worldwide level. On Friday 8 October at around am, the chemical tanker YM Uranus was travelling from Porto Marghera Italy to Amsterdam Netherlands when it was hit at the rear on its portside by the bulk carrier Hanjin Rizhao as it overtook. The chemical tanker YM Uranus , built in , was carrying 6, tonnes of Pygas pyrolysis gasoline and the Chinese bulk carrier, commissioned in July , Hanjin Rizhao , was transporting steel.
Following the collision, the chemical tanker, located around 30 miles west of Ushant Island, found itself in great difficulty, with a significant leak. The Hanjin Rizhao remained onsite to assist the chemical tanker if necessary, which was listing significantly. Cedre was alerted 15 minutes later.

Meanwhile, when the robot geometry is complex, it becomes very difficult to identify its dynamic and hydrodynamic parameters. In this paper, the main objective is to find an efficient modeling approach to tune acceptable control design models. The proposed solution uses cost efficient CFD computational fluid dynamic software to predict the two hydrodynamic key parameters: The added mass matrix and the damping matrix. The agreement defines the terms governing the cooperation between France and China in oceanography and astrophysics through the joint development of the CFOSAT satellite to study ocean surface wind and waves and the SVOM Space Variable Objects Monitor satellite to study gamma-ray bursts. CFOSAT is a science mission designed to study ocean surface wind and wave conditions with a view to improving forecasts for marine meteorology and knowledge of climate variability.
SVOM Space Variable Objects Monitor is an astronomy mission that aims chiefly to observe and characterize gamma-ray bursts, the highest-energy phenomena in the Universe. This paper deals with low-voltage ride-through capability of wind turbines driven by a doubly-fed induction generator. This is one of the biggest challenges facing massive deployment of wind farms. With increasing penetration of wind turbines in the grid, grid connection codes in most countries require that they should remain connected to maintain reliability during and after a short-term fault.
In addition, it is required for wind turbines to contribute to system stability during and after fault clearance. To fulfill the low-voltage ride-through requirement for doubly-fed induction generator-based wind turbines, there are two problems to be addressed, namely, rotor inrush current that may exceed the converter limit and the DC-link overvoltage.
Further, it is required to limit the doubly-fed induction generator transient response oscillations during the voltage sag to increase the gear lifetime and generator reliability.

Jasmina Keber born November 26, is a Slovenian crossminton player with three World Champion and two European Champion titles in female singles category. In , she became World Champion for the first time and in she successfully defended her European Champion title. In , she successfully defended her World Champion title. Her third World Champion title was won in In January she became Nr.
A slow attempt to return to competitive crossminton started by only playing mixed doubles matches in the first half of the year. Jasmina Keber started the season with a victory at Slovenian Open, followed by a victory at Hungarian Open. A back injury forced her to end the season already in the beginning of May and then also to withdraw from the European Championships.
Following the birth of a daughter, Jasmina Keber returned to playing competitive crossminton by winning Croatian Open in May and Hungarian Open in June. The highlight of the season was the European Championships in Brest, France, where she finished in 3rd place in both singles and mixed doubles categories after injuring her ankle in the female singles category quarterfinals match.
